It’s easier to teach kids when they want to pay attention! Do you find it challenging to keep your children’s attention, especially when you’re teaching them about the gospel? A large dose of humour is absolutely essential even for us adults to pay attention. And on March 9th, four renowned clowns of the clowns will be coming together to teach you new tricks and skills to share the gospel in a fun way! Yes, maybe humour is all we need to break the ice of sharing the gospel with our peers.

Don’t miss out in learning from these experts in the clowning and entertainment industry:1. Rev. Randy Christensen has worked with children and families for more than 30 years, serving as the kids ministry director in numerous U.S. churches. He is an award-winning mime, clown and variety artist, performing at churches, schools and festivals.

 

2. Ben Christensen grew up watching his father, Randy, in action. He first performed on stage at 4 and got hooked. At 8, he felt called by God into children’s evangelism. He holds a BA in Children’s Ministries, performs around the USA and co-produced many theatre shows.

 

3. Allan Yong started out as a Children’s Entertainer in August 1995, after more than 11 years working with children and youth as Uncle Allan. He entertains with puppets, magic, balloons, yo-yo stunts and comedy gags. He’s the founder of Allan and Friends Studios.

 

4. SA Ravindren aka Spotty de Clown worked with Allan & Friends’ Studios from 1996 until 2010, when he was invited to pastor the Tamil church at DUMC. He is one of the best clowns around town and has lots to share as a “former-pro-clown-now-Pastor”.
