It’s December already!
We’re entering the Christmas season. Why do we celebrate Christmas? <invite response>
Christmas comes once a year, and we usually start preparing for it around this time.
But do you know God prepared for Christmas a long, long time ago? He planned and prepared for the coming of His son, Jesus, into this world even from the very beginning.
It was not an afterthought, a last-minute decision or a Plan B.
God always knew that He would have to send His one and only begotten Son to come to give His life to save the world He loves.
The 1^st chapter of Matthew traces Jesus’ lineage from Abraham, to whom God promised to make the Father of many nations and from whom will come a Seed who will bless the whole world. (Gen 12:3)

So this Christmas, we can celebrate this King who came to give His life for us so that we can be Princes and Princesses of God!
